Выходит ведущая– Hello, children! Welcome to our game “Christmas in England and in Russia”.                                        

  I’m white and beautiful. I come with cold and snow,
But you like me, I know
Winter is the season
When mornings are dark
And birds do not sing
In the woods and the parks
This is the season
When children ski
And Father Christmas brings the holiday tree.
Children:

The Second Round
Santa Claus and Father Frost
Winter (показывает на часы, слайды Санта Клауса и Деда Мороза):
– Tick, tock
Минуты скачут
Tick, tock
Часы идут
Tick, tock
А это значит, Рождество уже тут.
Дети надевают рождественские шапочки.

Winter:

The day is so clear,
The snow is so white,
The sky is so bright,
We shout with all might: 

Children(хором): Merry Christmas! 

– Who are the children waiting for?
He comes at night
Oh so they say!
Then does his job
And goes away (Santa Claus)

(Звенят рождественские колокольчики) 

Santa Claus is on his way
He is coming on his sleigh
Jingle bells are ringing
Santa Claus is singing
He brings toys for the boys
Nice new dresses for the girls,
He brings chocolate, lollipops and nuts,
He brings books, CDs and bikes (Father Frost)

10. How do people decorate their houses? (слайд рождественского убранства квартир)

12. Where do Santa Claus and Father Frost meet? (слайд игрушечного магазина)

1. What do they put into their sacks?

Winter: Put the words into two columns:
Christmas stockings, has a granddaughter called Snow maiden, wears a long coat, travels by horses, Christmas stockings, with beard, kind, has no helpers, puts presents under a fir tree, travels by reindeer, old, comes to children through chimneys, loves children 

Father Frost	Santa Claus

Winter: Come back to the competition «They Meet Closer».
Двое учащихся надевают шапки Санта Клауса и Деда Мороза и воспроизводят диалог.
– Let`s play the game. «More Toys More Happy Children». (Дети поочерёдно наполняют подарками мешок).
– Let`s sing winter songs.
Учащиеся вместе с вокальной группой исполняют все вместе песню “Jingle Bells” и поют по желанию любую новогоднюю песню. За лучшее исполнение учащиеся получают призы.
The third round
Winter: 
Ice on the lake, snow on the ground,
Time to ski and skate around
Children, let’s play
Интерактивная игра 
На проекторе или интерактивной доске появляются вопросы о Санта Клаусе и Деде Морозе с вариантами ответов. Ребята читают вопросы и поднимают карточки с ответами (A,B,C). Принимается ответ той команды, которая первой подняла карточку. В случае неверного ответа игра возвращается к вопросу, право ответа предоставляется следующей команде.

1. How old is Father Frost? (150)
2. Where does Father Frost live? (Velikiy Ustyug)
3. Where does Santa Claus live? (Lapland)
4. Where does Father Frost put presents? (under the New Year’s tree)
5. Where does Santa Claus put presents? (into the socks)
6. What colour is the coat of Santa Claus? (red)
7. Who has a granddaughter Snowmaiden? (Father Frost)

The competition “Hooray for Winter!”

1. Учащиеся показывают разные виды зимнего спорта.
2. Учащиеся играют в “Snowballs”

На полу разбросаны снежки из ваты. Учащиеся с завязанными глазами должны собрать снежки.
The Fourth Round
Ведущий 1: К Рождеству люди готовятся заранее, они покупают и отправляют открытки с пожеланиями “Счастливого Рождества”, с изображением рождения Христа, Санта Клауса в Англии и деда Мороза в России. Мы тоже приготовили вам свои открытки:

Звучат поздравления

Ученик 1 команды:

Christmas comes but once a year
And when it comes it brings good cheer
A pocketful of money and a cellar full of beer,
And a good fat pig to last you all the year.

Ученик 2 команды:

I’ve done many things for Christmas
I’ve tied each present with bow,
But there’s one other thing
I wanted to tell you
How much/ I love you
But I think – you too.

5. Рефлексия.

Ребятам предлагается украсить разноцветными шарами рождественскую елку. Ученики, выбравшие красный шар, считают, что они отлично работали , желтый шар означает, что не все получилось, белый шар – материал  показался сложным и ребята с ним не справились.

После подведения итогов исполняется песня “We wish you a Merry Christmas”.
Звучит колокольчик.

Winter: 

There’s the bell
It’s time to stop and say
Good-bye to all.
